Seven more days until RTC in Great Lakes, Illinois and the anxiety is starting to change to excitement. I’ll get to be in another state for a bit and start my new life with my future shipmates/submariners. One thing I can’t wait for is actually experiencing a real winter and seeing snow for sometime, which is why I wanted to go in winter/spring.
On another note, I took my oral PQS exam today at my recruiting station and passed it easily, so I’m one step closer to ranking up when I get out. I just need to pass my two PRTs at RTC and I’m there. A really good day by far I must say.

That awkward, yet hilarious moment, you catch yourself singing We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together with your recruiter in the car coming home from PT.
